WoolfWorks Review {Plus a Giveaway!}

Recently, I was given the opportunity to sample some products from WoolfWorks.

WoolfWorks offers fun and durable placemats that are unique and personal. Whether you're in the market for children's learning mats or personalized mats for boys and girls, you will find a range of great design options. Every placemat created at WoolfWorks is heavily laminated using 10 mil lamination, making them easy to clean and extremely long-lasting. The quality of a WoolfWorks placemat is second to none, and the design options are fun, original and personal.

I couldn't have been more happy when Susan McPherson, owner of WoolfWorks, offered to let me give an official review of her products. The truth is that I already own one of her placemats, so I knew I would be very willing to stand behind her company to the benefit of my readers. Having the opportunity to add to my WoolfWorks collection was in itself a treat, but getting to share the experience with you made it even better!

The placemat I already own from WoolfWorks is my daughter's personalized "Olivia" placemat. Here she is about six months ago, posing with it. You'll see from the photo that it is a nice size, measuring in at 18" x 12". The coverage I get with this placemat is so great. She can still be a messy toddler, while not wreaking havoc on the table. And clean up is truly a snap. The laminate is totally durable and easy to clean. This placemat has thus far stood the test of time in our house, and I'm sure it will last for many more years to come.

The placemats range in price from $7 to $30. So when it comes to gift-giving, these make such a cute, fun and affordable present. I recently had my second child, a boy, and I was given a new placemat for my son AND a Happy Birthday placemat for review!

How fun is this Personalized Dinosaur Placemat, made just for Trevor!?
The best part of my new mats are the sentimental value. I'm big, and I mean big, on sentimental stuff, especially when it comes to my kids and family. The fact that both my daughter and son now have their own mats is great. It keeps it "even" and lets each one of them know how special they are.

And this Happy Birthday Placemat is now a keepsake our family will have for years!
The Happy Birthday placemat has its own backstory. Growing up, my family has always had a vintage 1940's birthday tablecloth, which started from my great grandmother. We use the tablecloth during all birthday parties in our family. We also have a special birthday plate. The birthday boy or girl gets to eat from that plate on their birthday. Now that I'm grown with a family of my own, my new WoolfWorks birthday placemat will serve the same sentimental purpose. My daughter will be the first to use it next month, when she turns two.

If you like my placemats, then you should check out some of the other great designs, found in her Etsy shop.

The Princess Placemat would be so adorable for any little girl's birthday party!

Just look at how much fun this little cutie is having!

Want to be able to invite boys to the party, too? Add them to the table with this Star Wars Themed Placemat!

Does your kiddo have dreams of stardom? The Rockstar Placemat would be the perfect fit! It comes in other colors for boys, too.

And the Superhero Placemat is BOOM, POW, BLAM, awesome!

Just picture your next birthday party, decked out like this. I think all boys and girls of any age would think it was awesome to have personalized placemat party favors for all their besties to tote home afterward.

Susan is a talented mom and business woman. Her designs are popular and fun, and her prices are great! I fully recommend you check out her shop for all that she offers.

Here, Susan tells us a little bit about herself.
"WoolfWorks was established with my mom about 10 years ago (Woolf is my maiden name). My mom created multi-sensory learning games for children. She has retired and I am now creating learning mats and personalized placemats.
My friend asked about a year ago if I could make personalized placemats for her daughter's Pancakes and Pajamas birthday party. After the success of that birthday party, I realized there was an interest for personalized party favors. I started to design and market my placemats towards birthday party themes.
I am very lucky to have a full time teaching job as a computer graphics teacher in a wonderful school district in Kansas City. I really enjoy creating these placemats as a side job. All placemats are made to order. If there is a theme that I don't have a design for, please send me a message and I will create that design. Or, if you like a design but want different colors or font, just send me a message and it can be done.
Thank you for your interest in WoolfWorks!"

  21. These would be great for party's, having each child have their own placemats. Perhaps this would encourage my nephew to eat, making him feel important with his placemat on the table.
